Three murder accused remanded

Three St Michael men accused of murder have been remanded to Her Majesty’s Prison Dodds.

Anthony Francis Lerius, 38, and Jayde Ivaughn Germain, 19, both of Wellington Street as well as Michael Sharad Connell, 22, of Country Park Towers, White Park Road are charged with murdering Mekail Harding on December 29, 2020.

The trio was not required to plead to the indictable charge when they appeared before Magistrate Alison Burke in the District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court moments ago.

Lerius is separately charged with entering as a trespasser the home of Jason King and stealing nine curtains worth $250. He pleaded not guilty and was granted bail in the sum of $2 000 on that charge.

They have been remanded to reappear in court on April 8.
