Verla De Peiza to run in St Lucy constituency

President of the Democratic Labour Party, Verla De Peiza announced Sunday that she would be contesting the next election by running in St Lucy.

De Peiza made the announcement on VOB’s Brasstacks radio programme.

The next general elections in Barbados are constitutionally due in 2023.

The Mia Mottley-led  Barbados Labour Party won all 30 seats in the last election, held in 2018.
