Williams sets new national record

Barbadian athlete Sada Williams has set a new national record at the Tokyo Olympics.

Williams finished third in heat three of the women’s 400 metres semi-finals, clocking 50.11 to set a new personal best and national record.

Sadly, her time was just shy of what was needed to qualify to the final round.
