Moments ago, Chief Magistrate Ian Weekes cleared him of charges related to inciting mutiny and sedition at Her Majesty’s Prison Dodds. It was alleged that between May 1 and May 9, 2018 he maliciously endeavoured to seduce fellow officers David Davis, Ophneal Austin, Shanell Ellis-Vaughn and Stephenson Trotman from their duties by participating in a sickout. Browne told Barbados TODAY: ” I feel relieved,” as he left the court. He was represented by attorney-at-law Andrew Pilgrim QC. Inspector Janice Ifill and Sergeant Victoria Taitt were the prosecutors.
