Manchester-Barbados flights returning

Irish national flag carrier Aer Lingus will resume flights between Manchester, United Kingdom and Barbados this coming winter season.

“We are delighted to announce the return of our Barbados route from Manchester for winter 2022,” Aer Lingus chief strategy and planning officer Reid Moody has announced.

“When we launched the route last year, there was strong interest in the new non-stop transatlantic service from the north of England to the sandy beaches of Barbados. As travel measures are relaxed further, and consumer confidence returns, we look forward to extending a warm Aer Lingus welcome to families and sun-seekers to and from the Caribbean.”

The airline, which began services here last October, is providing twice-weekly flights, on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

That will continue until the end of April. The service will resume on November 2, with three flights weekly on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. (BT)
