Alleged crop thieves remanded to Dodds

 

Two men charged with the theft of sweet potatoes from Applewaite’s Plantation, Applewaite’s St George were remanded to Dodds after appearing in the District ‘B’ Magistrates Court today.

Rico Omar Drayton, 32, of Turton’s Gap, Government Hill, St Michael and Trevon Orlando Farley, 26, of Seales Land, Government Hill, St Michael pleaded not guilty to five counts of theft that reportedly occurred between January 29 and March 1.

The stolen produce was valued at $6,320. None of it was recovered.
