Rwanda’s President calls on Dame Sandra Mason at State House

President of the Republic of Rwanda, Paul Kagame, on Saturday paid a courtesy call on Dame Sandra Mason, President of Barbados at State House, Government Hill, St Michael.

The two exchanged pleasantries and discussed matters of significance to both countries, after which President Kagame signed the Visitor’s Book at State House and made a commitment to the island’s President that he would return to visit Barbados in the future.

The presidential visit to Barbados coincides with government’s thrust to expand and deepen relations with countries in Africa.

President Kagame arrived on island on Good Friday, April 15 and departed on Saturday.
