Gun case to continue on Monday

The state closed its case against alleged gunman William Vince Thornhill in the High Court today.

The trial will continue on Monday May 16 before Justice Randall Worrell and the jury when Thornhill’s attorney Arthur Holder will put forward the case for the defence.

Senior Crown Counsel Olivia Davis and Crown Counsel Romario Straker are the prosecutors in the matter.

The accused from Harmony Hall, St Lawrence, Christ Church is before the No. 2 Supreme Court charged with having a
.45 calibre pistol and ten rounds of ammunition without valid licences on August 6, 2011.
