#BTSpeakingOut – COVID-19 paradox or double standards

Dear Government of Barbados and Health Authorities, can I ask some questions as COVID-19 is still killing the fragile and old. I did go to school often, paid rapt attention, and was always asking questions if ever I was uncertain, or if what I was told seemed to defy logic.

How come if a vaccinated person can still catch COVID-19 and infect another, that proof via a negative test result is not being required for entry into Barbados?

Why ask the unvaccinated to do the right thing, by showing they are not infected, according to existing testing protocols, but allow the vaccinated, who may be asymptomatic untested entry?

When will we pay more than lip service on protecting the fragile and old? I humbly await a major public awareness campaign aimed at protecting the old.

Why do we always have to wait until someone with an accent, from far and away, dictate what is supposed to be commonsense approaches for our daily existence?
