I see over the past few years that a number of lawyers in private practice have ended up in prison for stealing people’s money. Since some lawyers often elevate to serve the state in higher judicial positions, it is quite gratifying that these unscrupulous lawyers are nipped in the bud early. But I shudder to think of the possibilities if they were not nipped but had advanced their careers into public service. Even the thought of it sends shivers down my spine.

Kudos to the authorities for stopping unscrupulous lawyers in their tracks before the possibility of any of them becoming judges or magistrates.
