Man remanded in connection with 38 firearms, ammunition and other charges

Noel Lionel Taylor has been remanded to prison in connection with a number of charges including importing 38 illegal guns and 687 rounds of ammunition.

The Lowthers, Christ Church resident who is also facing fraud and drug charges appeared before Magistrate Manila Renee in the District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court at Cane Garden, St Thomas on Monday. He was not required to plead to the indictable charges.

The firearm and drug charges were reportedly committed on October 24.

He was represented by attorneys-at-law Michael Lashley K.C., Simon Clarke and Ken Mason.
