BCENe’s New Year’s Message – 2023

Fellow Barbadians we are all consumers, and it is against this background that the Board of Directors of the Barbados Consumer Empowerment Network (BCEN) take this opportunity to wish you a Healthy, Peaceful and Prosperous 2023.

We promise, with the help of almighty God that as a non -governmental consumer organization, we will speak up and speak out on matters that concern consumers in the interest of equity and fairness.

Where there is silence and misrepresentation of the facts concerning the spending power and rights of consumers, we will raise our voices. We want Businesses in Barbados to succeed and prosper but it must not come at any deleterious cost to consumers. Our mission is to see balanced scales and equity in the marketplace. This mission is at the heart of all that we intend to do. With your help we know that we can succeed . As a collective, BCEN will not only be an advocate for fairness and equity but will position itself through the grace and wisdom of Almighty God, to offer workable suggestions and solutions where necessary.

To this end, BCEN will be intensifying its membership drive in 2023 and is appealing to all and sundry, to come and join us in helping to rebalance relations in the marketplace, so that the wellbeing of all, not just a few, is looked after. With God on our side, our nation can only grow from strength to strength.
