Motorists urged to adhere to diversion signs through Highland, St Thomas

Stoney Gully in St. Thomas has been closed to allow workmen from the Ministry of Transport, Works and Water Resources (MTWW) to excavate rock bluff for the realignment of the road and construction of a footpath and retaining wall.
Traffic coming from Dukes Road will be diverted through Highland to exit by the St. Thomas Post Office. Motorists are reminded that Highland is a residential community, and they should drive through the district at a reduced speed.
Signage has been put in place by MTWW to notify road users of the road closure and diversion routes. The public is being asked not to remove or destroy the signs.
MTWW apologises for the inconvenience and thanks the public for its cooperation. (MTWW)
