Sada advances to 400m finals with new national record

Sada Williams blazed into the women’s 400 metres at the World Championships in Budapest, Hungary, after clocking in at an impressive 49.58 seconds.

Williams not only advanced, but also shattered Barbados’ women’s 400m National record time of 49.75 seconds – a record she had set during last year’s World Championship in Eugene, Oregon, USA.The ‘Bajan’ 2022 Championships bronze medallist is listed by pundits as a contender for the coveted gold medal in Budapest.
