Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in effect for Barbados

 

A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect for Barbados.

The Barbados Meteorological Services said the remnants of Tropical Storm Gert have induced surface to low-level troughing across Barbados. As a result, cloudy skies scattered heavy showers and periods of rain are expected in addition to significant and frequent lightning activity.

The advisory will be updated 0r terminated at noon depending on conditions.
