Lester Vaughan School not impacted by nearby fire, ministry says

The Lester Vaughan School. (FP)

A letter to Parents and Guardians from the Principal of the Lester Vaughan School gives the assurance that the school plant was not impacted by a recent fire at a nearby recycling plant.

The letter indicated that the school’s night security officer, who was on location, reported no evidence of smoke on the school grounds.

The Principal, Suzette Holder, gave the reassurance that the school was clean and remained a safe, healthy space for teaching and learning, and that regular activities can continue. However, if there are any questions or concerns, parents and guardians should not hesitate to contact the school.

The Management and staff of the Lester Vaughan School thank everyone for their continued support, and look forward to continued shared commitment to education.
