Pumping station in St Michael affected by electrical fault back online, BWA says

The Barbados Water Authority (BWA) wishes to inform the public that the pumping station in St Michael, which was previously offline due to an electrical fault, is now fully operational.

Customers in some Christ Church, Bridgetown and some St Michael districts who may have experienced low pressure or water outages due to the stoppage, can expect their water supply to return to normal gradually.

Water tankers will continue to assist residents and businesses in the affected districts as a temporary measure. However, there may be delays in serving customers due to heavy demand.

The Barbados Water Authority apologizes for the inconvenience this service disruption may have caused.
