Police are continuing investigations into the discovery of a woman’s nude body in St Thomas on August 14 and are appealing to the public, both locally and abroad, for assistance in identifying the deceased.

Public Affairs and Communications Officer of The Barbados Police Service, Acting Inspector Ryan Brathwaite, told the media on Tuesday that officers are working tirelessly on the case.

“There’s nothing that we can say at this time. We’re still appealing to anyone in Barbados [and] outside of Barbados…. We need help in identifying that individual who was found at [Grand View] in St Thomas. We’ve been working around the clock…. We’re digging as deep as we can go, we really need help in identifying that body.”

He has asked anyone with information to contact the police hotline at 211, Crimestoppers at 1-800-8477, or 836-1278.

“We’ll act on any information that is provided,” Brathwaite assured. (SB)
