Man stabbed along Fairchild Street

A man is nursing stab wounds after he was attacked along Fairchild Street, St Michael, on Thursday afternoon.
 
Police say the incident occurred around 2:45 p.m. when the victim, who was walking along the roadway, was approached by another man armed with a knife and stabbed about the body.
 
He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by private vehicle, where he is receiving treatment.
 
Investigations are continuing. Police are appealing to anyone with information to contact the Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-8477, Police Emergency at 211, or the Central Police Station at 430-7676 or 430-7630.
