BFA Division 1 season heats up

The top three teams in the Barbados Football Association’s (BFA) Division One league all recorded wins on Wednesday, setting up an enthralling finish to the season with just three points separating them.

Pro Shottas lead the league on 21 points following a 3-0 victory over Technique, while Empire are one point adrift in second position, after they defeated Notre Dame 2-0. 

Third placed Pinelands also kept up the pressure on the front runners, with a 2-0 win over Potential Ballers that saw them advance to 19 points. 

Meanwhile, fourth-placed Parish Land now have 17 points after their 3-2 victory over Silver Sands.

In Wednesday’s other results, Whitehall blanked Barbados Soccer Academy 3-0 and Fitts Village defeated Greens 1-0.
