St Michael, HC to clash in U17 bball final

The St Michael School will meet Harrison College in the final of the National Sports Council Under-17 Basketball competition.

Playing at the Barbados Community College in semifinal action on Tuesday, Jordan Blackman top scored with 21 points, while Ramone Edwards added 19 and Aeden Bruce 16, as St Michael easily defeated Comberemere 82-60.

For Combermere, Leandro Gibson netted 18 points and Jared Ashby 10.

The second semifinal saw Harrison College ease to an 85-47 victory over Queen’s College, thanks to 19 points apiece from Jelani Marshall and Isaac Griffith, while Nathan Reid added 17, Kaiden Alexander 12 and Darren Massiah 11.

Kemani Maynard  top scored for Queen’s College with 18 points.
