St George woman granted $20K bail on cannabis charges

A St George woman has been granted $20 000 bail after appearing in a Bridgetown court on cannabis-related charges.

Shamara Tamesha Scott, 32, of Eastlyn, is accused of committing acts preparatory for the purpose of trafficking cannabis between June 1 and July 27, and importing cannabis on July 27.

No pleas were taken to the indictable offences.

After there was no objection raised in the District ‘A’ Traffic Court, Magistrate Jared Richards granted her bail with sureties and adjourned the case until October 30.

Attorney Steve Gollop represents the accused.
