Christ Church man bailed on cannabis charges

A 47-year-old supervisor has been granted $20 000 bail after appearing in court on charges linked to cannabis with an estimated street value of $237 500.

Ishan Saquan Alleyne of Town House #8, Fordes Road, Clapham, Christ Church, is accused of possession, possession with intent to supply, and trafficking of cannabis on September 11.

The total estimated weight of the suspected cannabis is 47.5 kilogrammes, with an approximated street value of $237 500.

He was not required to plead to the indictable offences when they were read by Magistrate Jared Richards.

Alleyne, who is represented by attorneys Simon Clarke and Neville Reid, was granted bail with two sureties and will return to court on December 9.
