Police have confirmed the death of a British national at the Portvale Sugar Factory.
Dead is Paul Anthony Clifford, 46, of #2 Yorkshire, West Road, Christ Church.
Acting Inspector Rodney Inniss, Public Relations Officer for the Royal Barbados Police Force, told Barbados TODAY that Clifford fell from the roof of the building and died at the scene.
Investigations are continuing.

We need to make these companies more responsible for safety..... Also ppl need to take their safety to heart.... Life is priceless stop these companies putting a tag on it, how many have to fall off these business places roofs while doing routine maintenance before it is made mandatory for safety gear to be worn at heights
