It forms part of Egi Women’s ongoing commitment to equipping women with the knowledge, confidence and resources necessary to make informed financial decisions and create sustainable futures for themselves and their families. As women continue to manage households, businesses, communities, and industries, it is critical that they are equally equipped to make sound financial decisions and build lasting wealth. This is our third Women and Wealth Masterclass, and it falls squarely in line with our mission of helping women build upon what they already have to thrive and lead a better quality of life,” Cummins said. “Partnerships such as this with JMMB International help us create meaningful experiences that equip women with the knowledge and tools needed to make informed decisions about their future”. The event was made possible through the support of JMMB International and its Executive Director, Michael Jordan, who emphasised the alignment between the initiative and the organization’s broader vision for financial literacy and market participation across the region. It was a no-brainer to collaborate, and this is the first of many collaborations to push forward investment education, not only giving people the knowledge but also providing access to regional and international markets,” Jordan said. Designed for 50 participants, the Women & Wealth Masterclass attracted a full house, underscoring the growing interest among women in financial wellness, wealth creation, and investing. Feedback from attendees reflected both the impact and relevance of the session, with participants describing the experience as “empowering”, “life-changing”, and leaving them feeling “equipped and ready for success”. Others shared that they were motivated to take action, eager to explore new investment opportunities, and were more confident about beginning their wealth-building journey. Facilitated by respected finance executive C. Natasha Small, Group Chief Financial Officer of Goddard Enterprises Limited, participants were guided through a transformative session focused on shifting mindsets around money, aligning financial values with personal goals, implementing effective budgeting practices, and understanding investing as a critical pathway to wealth creation. Small challenged attendees to think differently about their relationship with money while providing practical tools that could be immediately applied to their financial journeys. Leigh-Ann Norville, Investment Advisor at JMMB International, then introduced participants to the organization’s story and unique blend of financial expertise with people-centred partnership. “One of the most rewarding parts of what I do is helping people understand that investing is not reserved for a select few. Financial growth becomes possible when people are equipped with the right knowledge and support. “My goal is always to make investing more approachable, answer questions openly, and help individuals take confident first steps toward achieving their financial goals. At JMMB International, we are committed to walking alongside our clients throughout that journey,” Norville said. The practical nature of the session was further demonstrated by several attendees taking immediate steps to onboard with JMMB International’s investment platform following the event. Additionally, the team at Egi Women has committed to continuing the conversation with attendees through follow-up engagement and extending the learning opportunities to women throughout the wider Egi community.
