One vehicle was driven by Galvin King, 89, of Apple Hall, St Philip and the other by Damian Best, 38, of Lowthers Hill, Christ Church. A team of five fire officers had to use the Jaws of Life to remove King from his vehicle. King and Best both suffered injuries to their heads, necks, back and feet. Verenda King, a passenger of one of the vehicles, suffered pain and injuries to her chest, neck and feet. They were all transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for treatment.
