Local NewsNews Serious accident at Woodbourne, St Philip by Sandy Deane 01/04/2019 written by Sandy Deane 01/04/2019 0 min read A+A- Reset FacebookTwitterLinkedinWhatsappEmail 338 Police are investigating a serious accident at Woodbourne, St Philip, that occurred just outside the entrance of the Barbados National Oil Company, around 7 p.m. A 16-year-old female student of the Graydon Sealy Secondary School was struck by a motor van travelling towards Six Roads, St Philip. The driver was overtaking another vehicle when the girl was crossing the road. She was transported by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital with life threatening head injuries. She was unresponsive prior to leaving the scene. (more details as they come to hand.)
