BWA officials had uncovered the massive leak in a wooded area yesterday as they sought to investigate low water levels at the Hampton Pumping Station, which had resulted in outages or low water pressure for customers in sections of St Philip and Christ Church in recent days. Meanwhile, The Hampton Pumping Station, which was back online after workers successfully changed a damaged pump just before midnight, is currently pumping at a reduced capacity. The BWA explained that as a result of the work being carried out on the burst main, the station is only providing water to three of the four distribution systems it normally supplies.
