John Mark Annel (FP)

The case against police firearms expert John Mark Annel continued in the District “A” Criminal Court today before Chief Magistrate Ian Weekes.

Legal arguments were made by the defence and prosecution to determine if there is sufficient merit in the charge against Annel for the matter to go to trial at the High Court.

Annel, 56, of Kenrick Hutson Drive, Lucas Street, St Philip is charged that on September 20, 2017 he unlawfully had in his possession, 100 rounds of ammunition without a valid permit.

The case was adjourned until October 29.
