Fabian Antone John, 46,ย and his wife Vanessa Maylin John, 48, of Kingsland Heights, Christ Church are accused of refusing to carry out a lawful order imposed by the Chief Medical Officer on April 26. They have been charged under Section 12 Subsection 1 (b) of the Quarantine Act Chapter 52. The two pleaded not guilty to the charge and were granted $1000 bail each and released after their attorneys Michael Lashley Q.C., Simon Clarke and Sade Harris made submissions on their behalf with regards to the charge proffered against them by Crown. The prosecution represented by Sergeant St Clair Phillips will respond to the submissions when the matter is called again before Magistrate Elwood Watts on May 31 in the District โCโ Magistratesโ Court.
