#SpeakingOut – Dropped the guard?

I have some foolish questions. Have the COVID-19 variants originated in Barbados? If so, how? Did they get here by plane or boat? If by either, how is that Barbadians are accused of letting their guards down?

The guards would have had to be let down at our ports of entry by government officials, not by people going to church or shopping at Massy.

Are our officials surprised that people are using fake documents and results to get past authorities? Wouldn’t this be something that any self-respecting official would be anticipating?

Why do my people always come over as simpletons with some of the things they speak. Right now, with Government hell bent on getting tourists into Barbados, our ports of entry are the powder keg.

Tighten up there, increase vigilance there and we stand a chance, or by this December it will be 2020 all over again.
