The Optimist Clubs of Barbados South and The Optimist Club of Barbados North represented by president Margaret Chapman-Farley and president Dr Keerti Singh, recently presented The Most Honorable Dr. Corey Forde, National Director of Isolation Facilities at Harrison’s Point, with a framed copy of The Optimist Creed.

The presentation was in recognition of the team’s work, commitment and dedication to the fight against COVID-19 in Barbados. The presentation was witnessed by Dr Rhea Corbin-Harte and Nicholas Ifill, Client Relations Officers for Isolation Facilities.

Presidents Singh & Chapman-Farley thanked and complimented Dr Forde and his team for staying true and honoring their professional oath.

They stated that the tenets of the Optimist Creed would be a source of comfort and strength, and
would help to center them when life’s circumstances seem insurmountable.

The presentation of The Optimist Creed signalled a continuation of the relationship established in December 2021, when the Optimist Clubs of Zone 10, led by Lieutenant Governor Dwayne Worrell, donated a number of plants to the Harrison’s Point Serenity garden during their spotlight month.  (PR)
