The presentation was in recognition of the team’s work, commitment and dedication to the fight against COVID-19 in Barbados. The presentation was witnessed by Dr Rhea Corbin-Harte and Nicholas Ifill, Client Relations Officers for Isolation Facilities. Presidents Singh & Chapman-Farley thanked and complimented Dr Forde and his team for staying true and honoring their professional oath. They stated that the tenets of the Optimist Creed would be a source of comfort and strength, and would help to center them when life’s circumstances seem insurmountable. The presentation of The Optimist Creed signalled a continuation of the relationship established in December 2021, when the Optimist Clubs of Zone 10, led by Lieutenant Governor Dwayne Worrell, donated a number of plants to the Harrison’s Point Serenity garden during their spotlight month.
