In an interview with Barbados TODAY, Stacey explained that the book captured the many exciting things to see and do in Bridgetown thereby giving persons all across the world the opportunity to experience Barbadian culture and heritage in the most unique way. The Lily & Luca’s Adventures book series is the story of two siblings’ pursuit of new discovery and adventure in beautiful Barbados. It is an educational and entertaining story book that makes reading fun for children while illustrating exciting aspects of the island, and contains interactive and fun activities for children ages four to 10 years old. It is intended to help children improve on their comprehension, retention and analytical skills and is available in both English and French. “We found a need for children to read more and to be reacquainted and excited with reading and this is why we seek to introduce them to reading in the most fun way possible. Lily & Luca’s Adventures was always intended to be a series, thus creating more books with educational and entertaining content was always the plan and there is still more to come,” Stacey said.
