A call is being made for women to take a stand and change the narrative that they are their worst enemy.

Communications consultant and training and development specialist, Lynette Taylor, said it is time that women use their unique qualities to support and help each other to succeed, especially in the workplace.

Taylor, who has over 20 years’ experience in communications, including stakeholder engagement and corporate training, has designed a training seminar called “The Power of Female Relationships – Women Transforming their Work, Home and Social Spaces” with the objective of helping women learn how to use their relationships to build happy, productive organisations and homes.

“It is an engaging and informative workshop based on the fundamental tenets of emotional intelligence and was created to teach women how we can use our female intuition and experiences to propel growth in key spaces critical to our success as professionals, spouses, mothers and friends,”
said Taylor.

She noted: “Women supporting women is a game changer and the impetus for meaningful, positive development in the workplace and in society. This may be demonstrated in many ways, mainly as women showing up as our authentic selves with all of our strengths and our flaws. This lets other women be comfortable and confident that they too, may show up without fear of judgment. Once these barriers are broken down it lets us put that energy into our work, and wonderfully creative concepts and dynamic outcomes are produced.”

Taylor added that the training is particularly relevant in organisations where a significant number of women are working together. “If we are honest, we know that the dynamics of women working together can get super intense, but the same gale force winds that can blow a house down can be used to power a generation plant; this is what the workshop is all about – using our female energy for positive change,” she stated.

The training, which takes place on Saturday, August 13th at Ten Habitat Building, Wildey, St. Michael, will run from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Those interested may call (246) 827-5509 or email lynettegtaylor@gmail.com for registration details. (PR)
