After two challenging years, the festivities of Crop Over have finally returned to the island and Sagicor made sure their clients and team members alike, embraced the season.
During an event recently held at their Client Experience Centre in Lower Collymore Rock, the insurance and financial institution gave clients a taste of the sweetest summer festival, beginning with the infectious tunes of the Tuk Band and rhythms of Mother Sally.
Clients were then invited to spin the Sagicor Wheel for a chance to win from a variety of Sagicor branded items and event tickets. Additionally, a Crop Over themed photobooth, provided by Island Smiles Photo Experience, was also present to capture the moments, while free sno-cones were also available to keep everyone cool.
Team members were not left out of the festivities, as Mother Sally and the Tuk Band, roamed the office making sure that everyone got a taste of Crop Over. DJs Hutchy and Sizz kept the Experience Centre animated with seasonal music, even compelling some team members to demonstrate their karaoke skills.
They also participated in the Sagicor Glitzy Mask Competition, showcasing their creativity by modelling their own Crop Over-themed masks and headpieces. Prizes were awarded for the Best Sagicor Themed, Most Creative Materials and Most Festive Décor.
Manager of the company’s Customer Experience Unit, Cynthia Blackman, said, “the event was conceptualised to bring the Crop Over Experience to our clients and team members after being unable to do so for a while. We hoped these festivities would energise everyone as they conducted business in our Experience Centre. Through the various activities we were also able to give back to our clients and employees who are both responsible for Sagicor’s ongoing success.”
At the end of the day’s festivities, patrons were feeling quite upbeat, and one thing was clear, Sagicor loves Crop Over. (PR)
