The 1st Avenue Nurse Land, Tweedside Road, St Michael resident was fatally shot during a daring daylight shooting around 11:45 a.m., not far from his home. According to police, Johnson was walking along Tweedside Road when he was approached and chased by two men on a motorcycle. One of the men pulled a gun and fired several shots, hitting Johnson who fell to the ground. His assailants then made their escape on the motorcycle. The victim was subsequently pronounced dead at the scene. One eyewitness who said he had not experienced such an incident before, recounted hearing multiple gunshots. “I was in the Indian store looking at a speaker, so then I heard these five shots and when I come out there were these two men on a motorcycle,” he said.
