MP Kirk Humphrey, in the Barbados TODAY article of Jan 26, 2023 stated that one of the reasons for wanting to see a more “inclusive society” had to do with our colonial past.

He stated in relation to “modern Barbados”: “Our own journey on plantations and the definitions given to us about gender, what it meant to be a man, to be able to produce and produce; what it meant to be a woman, to be able to bear more children and more children; at some point, these things have to be renegotiated.”

Now, where in “modern Barbados” is the concept of men and women having many children to feed into the work-force, a reality?

Isn’t Barbados in fact under-populated? Isn’t this same government looking to import people to prop-up the lack of births ongoing in Barbados?

Case in point, the Ghanaian and Cuban nurses. In fact, the exact opposite to the plantocracy mentally is true, because Barbadians have swung the pendulum in the opposite direction and are only having one or two children.

So why is Mr Humphrey throwing out his bait, hoping that Bajans will bite and happily join the small LGBT pushing band-wagon? He should really have come straight and stated that he is here on the behest of the European Union and Cave Hill Livity Project. This project is a collaboration of several entities deemed marginalised and underserved.

Among these is the most famously hidden, agenda-based collaboration – that being of the disabled community and the LGBTQ community. The LGBTQ community has very successfully made the false alignment and false association of themselves with the disabled community in an effort to worm their way into the sympathies of the general public.

Whenever an LGBT person rises to speak, they first rally around the cause of the inequities borne by the disabled community and then proceed to parallel that to the perceived and forced inequities of the LGBT community.

Now, Mr Humphrey is on the same band wagon attempting to pull more cotton wool over the eyes of unsuspecting Bajans by lumping talk about the disabled with a call for a conversation about “gender”.

What does one have to do with the other? The truth is, there is and ought to be no comparison between a person who makes a choice in life to adopt a certain life-style (for whatever valid or invalid reason) and a person who is born disabled or becomes disabled because of an accident
or medical condition, which they have absolutely no control over.

It is a misalignment. But an agenda is an agenda. An agenda will ignore any relevant facts and keep shooting for its mark. The LGBT community internationally has made a mockery of the Civil Rights Movement and the plight of Black people during slavery by erroneously and unfairly seeking to align themselves with the trauma experienced by our ancestors.

Bajans, this is a call to get up and speak out on what you very well know and honestly believe in your hearts… Don’t take a 6 when you know it is a 9. There is an agenda afoot, coming from outside of Barbados to turn our God-fearing nation into a first-world godless society.

If you look carefully, you will notice these western and European societies are in mayhem and social and economic decay. We have the power with the Father’s help to save ourselves. Always remember that what glitters is not always gold. We have to become the firm craftsmen of our fate, with God by our side.
