General Secretary of the National Union of Public Workers Richard Greene explained that the workers were upset about outstanding payments and some supervisory issues. He said following brief discussions with BCC management, the two sides have agreed to address the concerns at a meeting set for next Thursday, March 2. BCC Principal Annette Alleyne told reporters that there was no breakdown in communication on the issues raised.
