The company will be offering a number of discounts on particular days, group specials, corporate specials, after work limes and a Sunday barbeque. Sales and marketing manager Leah Roach said at a press conference this morning that the St Thomas business, under the Chukka Caribbean brand, was bouncing back from the economic challenges associated with the COVID-19 pandemic. She said the company was seeing large numbers of tourists and locals from January to May this year – about 36 000 people, averaging 7 000 patrons monthly. About 15 to 20 per cent of those numbers reflect local interest. Roach added that the company expected to see business returning to pre-COVID-19 levels by next year.
