The two entities signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) this morning in the conference room of the Immigration Department, Cheapside, Bridgetown. Previously, only passports were delivered via this service which is powered by Post Express Couriers. However, other immigration documents have now been included. Chief Immigration Officer Margaret Innis said only documents that involve recipients taking an oath would be excluded. Minister of Home Affairs and Information Wilfred Abrahams applauded the initiative, stating that it would reduce the number of people going to the Immigration Department to collect documents.
