It may have cost $300 for a ticket to the Beach House Breakfast Party held last Saturday at Copacabana, but from all indications, it was money well spent.
The event ticked all the boxes of a great breakfast fete and if there was any rating involved it would definitely receive at least a 9 out of 10.

The fete was so good that time seemed to go by quickly and when the event had finished, you felt as though it ended early and you wanted more. That is the only reason a point was knocked off the rating.

Unlike other events, it did not take a while for things to warm up. From the time the first DJ played his set, it was pure vibes throughout and when the artistes came on stage and performed, it took the party to a whole new level.

There were performances by Lil Rick, Leadpipe and Saddis, Edwin Yearwood and Grateful Co. Each of them was lively and engaging.
It was impossible not to move, even if you were queued awaiting a meal.

You did not have to be in the crowd to have fun either. People partied in groups and had a ball.
It was as if the hundreds of people who patronised the fete all had one agenda – to have a blast. There was no ‘stush’ behaviour and it was clear that it wasn’t a phone-in-hand and snapping type of party.
The party goers were also dressed to impress in elevated resort-like attire.
There was plenty to eat and drink, with well replenished dishes and exceptional service.
