The body of 21-year-old Darius Cadogan of Mount Brevitor, St Peter who went missing at sea on Sunday, has been recovered.
Lawmen said two fishermen saw a body floating in the water at Heywoods Beach, St James, and brought it to shore around 9:45 this morning.
Cadogan’s family members subsequently identified the body.
He was reported missing after going underwater at Cobbler’s Cove beach in St Peter just after 9 a.m. on Sunday.
Police are now conducting an unnatural death investigation.
