He made the disclosure as he led off debate on theย Queen Elizabeth Hospital Amendment) Bill, 2024,ย in the Senate this morning. โEighty-four persons applied for the post of CEO of the QEH . . . . Two Barbadians applied for that post – two out of the 84 – and both of them were deemed not suitably qualified . . . did not have the experience. โThe committee of the board went through the process – 84 go to 12. Then, I believe they . . . had selected six to be interviewed, but one person dropped out, and they interviewed five and then [came] to a selection.
