Prisoner escapes from QEH

Police are on the hunt for 31-year-old robbery accused Mario Austin who escaped custody while receiving medical treatment at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

Officers are currently searching the immediate environs and acting on reports of sightings of the former Blackman’s Tenantry, St Joseph resident.

Lawmen have urged members of the public who see Austin to contact police emergency at 211 or any police station.
