According to the BMS, unstable conditions associated with a tropical wave is generating significant thunderstorm activity. This activity is expected to affect the island throughout the early portion of the night. The forecasters advised that lighting activity at or near your location could result in power outages if lighting strikes power utility infrastructure. The BMS reminds the public that lightning strikes can be life-threatening. This watch will be updated at midnight, Monday August 5th 2024.
