Tynone Alex Searles, 17, of Wotton and Jahlanny Tremaine Yarde, 26, of 6B Silver Hill Drive are accused of the murder of Zahir Goodridge on June 12. Goodridge was shot on the compound of the Aberdeen Jones Centre and Market, located at the corner of Crescent Road and Upper Gall Hill Road. Searles is separately charged with other offences that occurred on the same date. These are: unlawful possession of a firearm; endangering the life of Remon Francis; and committing serious bodily harm to Antoine Pollard, Makai James, Marcus Bourne and Azori Clarke. Yarde will also have to face charges including unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition, and assault of Rico Clarke on August 30. He is also accused of committing several offences on March 26. These include endangering the life of Jonathan Griffith, robbing Kaliyah Kirton, unlawful use of a firearm, and brandishing a firearm. The two accused are scheduled to appear before Magistrate Deidre McKenna in the Oistins Magistrates’ Court today.
