Murder accused remanded

Murder accused Tynone Alex Searles, 17, of Wotton, Christ Church and Jahlanny Tremaine Yarde, 26, of 6B Silver Hill Drive, in the same parish, appeared in the Oistins Magistrates’ Court this morning.

Yarde and Searles are accused of the murder of Zahir Goodridge on June 12. Goodridge was shot on the compound of the Aberdeen Jones Centre and Market, located at the corner of Crescent Road and Upper Gall Hill Road.

Yarde is also charged with the murder of Omar Haynes who was gunned down outside his Silver Hill home on May 13.
They have been remanded to Dodds and will reappear in court on October 15.
