Reid charged with 2024 murder

Police have charged 27-year-old Taquan Emmanuel Reid for the murder of Caleb Waithe.

Reid, who police said has no fixed place of abode, is expected to appear in the District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court today.

He is accused of murdering 24-year-old Waithe, a resident of Small Land, Bridge Gap, St Michael, and using a firearm, on November 19, 2024.

Waithe, 24, was shot while sitting outside an apartment in Belfield Land, Black Rock, St Michael.
