The Barbados Prison Service (BPS) hosted Q in the Community for the first time on Thursday at the Dodds Prison Retail Outlet in St Philip, as part of its month of activities.

Superintendent of Prisons, DeCarlo Payne, said the idea had been in the works since last year. “Sometimes last year, October, we came up with the idea that we wanted to host Q here… but when we reached out to CBC, they already indicated to us that the bookings would have taken them all into 2025. So this is basically what you’re seeing now manifested in 2025,” he explained.
