She thought she was getting five cases of beer. When she saw that vehicle pull up, let me tell you, all now she’s trembling,” Jermain said. Speaking about the campaign, Jermain explained: “The campaign started at the end of August and ran until the end of November. We had a tremendous response. It was exciting and different, as it involved scanning QR codes, and I must say SLU Beverages and Banks Barbados Breweries Limited are the second company in the world to execute an ‘Under the Crown’ QR campaign.” She added: “We were overwhelmed by participation, with over 30 000 entries and more than 7 000 premiums awarded. We are extremely elated, on behalf of Banks Barbados Breweries Limited, SLU Beverages Limited and KOSCAB Holdings Ltd., to award Lisa this grand prize of a 2025 Isuzu D-Max.” Jermain also confirmed that SLU Beverages will handle the registration and licensing of the vehicle to ensure Morris receives it as soon as possible. The prize package also includes an additional four tyres. A representative from SOL Barbados Limited was also on hand to officially present Morris with the $1 000 gas voucher.
